My Movement

Today I’ve created a casual outfit inspired by vintage rock. I put on a suede double cross outer stitched jacket with a vintage rock T-shirt underneath, I then added a fitted straight skirt. Accompanying the jacket, t-shirt and skirt are grey suede ankle boots with Christian Laboutin inspired, red soles. When creating this outfit I wanted to slightly venture into the indie style. I did this by adding black drop pearl earrings for originality, to complete the outfit, but still keeping the vintage aspect in mind I put on a monogram Louis Vuitton Alma. Although this outfit is vintage rock inspired many of the components of it allow it to be classified as versatile for multiple casual occasions. In the picture above is Darnell Philly, Appeal designer for boutique, Fresh Image, co owned by Devan Jupiter. I’m personally a fan of Darnell’s style which follows the new “Jerkin Boy” style that has been sweeping the streets of Los Angeles with everything from music, clothes to dances. When introduced to a new style some may refer to it as a trend, a trend fades away like the scent of cheap perfume, but style, style is forever lasting.
